Eight years inside a charger & power strip manufacturer

Not a trading company that forwards emails. I've worked on the factory side — products, certification projects, and the part where an order goes wrong because one document was missing.

Why I do it this way

Most sourcing problems aren't about price or quality. They're about a document. A certificate that doesn't cover the model. A report that was never asked for. A market that wants something nobody checked for.

These are cheap to prevent and expensive to fix — and you almost always find out at the worst possible moment, when the goods are already on the water.

So the way I work is simple: the documentation gets checked before you pay anything. You get certificate numbers, issuing bodies and validity periods up front, and you can verify them yourself.

One thing I won't do: describe a test report as a certification. They're different documents with different legal weight, and blurring the line is how buyers end up with a product they can't sell. If a model holds a UL test report, I'll say "test report." If it holds UL Listed certification, I'll say that instead.

What I can do for you

  • Compliance check before you commit. Model + market, and I'll tell you what's missing.
  • Sourcing with documentation attached. Quotes come with the certificate list, not without it.
  • Small orders. Trial quantities for testing a market — which most factories won't take.
  • Second opinion on a certificate. Send one over. I'll tell you what it actually covers.

Where I'm most useful

If you're importing into one market and have done it a hundred times, you probably don't need me. If you're entering a market for the first time, adding a second country, selling on a marketplace for the first time, or working at quantities most factories won't quote — that's where I'm worth a message.
